BRS Alpha Beast Review

Amazing knife no tap or play after 3 years

So I bought this knife almost 3 years ago and it has been my favorite knife since then. the tolerances are amazing, there is no tap and no play with great swing. I have dropped it a few times and the worst that has happened was a tiny chip on the blade and a few divots in the handles. for anyone who needs a good edc or a good flipper this is an amazing deal

Absolutely incredible

This knife is so smooth, it feels like the ball bearings are made out of pure butter and the weight is perfect. Sharp as a razor too, have already nicked myself once or twice with it. Just feels absolutely amazing to handle and flip, if you ever get the money for one of these you need to bite the bullet and buy it, you will NOT regret it!

Solid EDC Balisong

The blade shape is not as slicey as I would like but it does work. Also its a BRS so its flips amazing.

The magnificent beast!!!!

I got this as a second channel Alpha Beast. I grabbed a green one on the drop but then noticed BladeHQ got some blue ones. BRS really doesnt make enough balisongs but the ones they do are pretty dang close to perfection! The sound and balance make even a beginner like me seem like a seasoned flipper!

Quality is up this run or i got a good one?

I've had 4 alpha beast's, and this one is the Best yet, tuned great and good fit and finish, i just Can't believe they haven't sold out already, one of the Best flipper's amazing bali.

One of the best production balisongs

The AB 3.0 is defiantly one of the best flipping balisongs on the market, the weight is perfect for a full ti balisong. the bushings make it so smooth and ideal for flipping. I'd recommend anyone who is interested in flipping to get this bali because even if you don't end up flipping it all that much its still great for EDC.

OK flipper but bottom level titanium and machining..

This is some of the cheapest titanium I've seen in a knife costing above $50. Some of the cheapest machined Ti you'll ever see too that hide none of the bottom level Ti extrusion processing. Get a WE or Kizer and you'll see. Flips OK at least but BRS is making the big $$$ off this one. You fell for the marketing as did I. Enjoy it. One of the best production Balisongs ever

If the Balisong you have now was less than 200$ and not a Kimura, then you are missing out my friend.

Once you get past the 200$ price point , the knives start becoming quality. And this is one of the best knives out there.

Handle weight is more balanced throughout than a Replicant, but more handle-end biased than a Hom Specter or FlyTi.

Large hardware will… read more last forever, is harder to strip, and bushings make this thing swing smooth as silk.

The only thing I'll be doing to mine is getting the handle edges slightly rounded, but that is 100% personal preference.

Simply put: best production balisong ever made.

There's not really much more to say. Balance is perfect. The knife looks wicked. Materials are amazing. Will probably last a lifetime. The 42 has nothing on this.

Perfect balance and weight in the back of the handles to make rollovers and chaplins go on autopilot. Fantastic butterfly knife!

Perfect balance and weight! It is all made and finished by hand and I love that, it just feels like quality. I really love how you can tighten the pivots all the way down without it effecting the flippability (new word.) Much better than my old BM51. Look up Linos Sheathworks if you would like a great kydex sheath for it.

Favorite flipper!!!!!!

I LOVE this knife! It is my favorite flipper, speaking of, it flips like a BEAST (no pun intended). But I did have one problem with it. I think the heat treat has been done improperly, but it shouldn't be a problem because of BRS's awesome warranty! Love this knife though. I definitely recommend it to everyone who can buy it. Worth the money.

Alpha Beast

I love this knife!!! I had pretty high expectations for it and it exceed all my expectations! I would highly recommend it to any flipper or collector. It is incredibly smooth, flips very well and is weighted beautifully.
