When the battle moves to close quarters, it's the perfect time for short blades to shine. It was with that principle in mind that James Williams, a U.S. Army officer-turned-knife designer, crafted the Shinbu. This is a dual-grind fixed blade knife designed for close quarters slashing and penetration, which makes it perfect for stealth and guerrilla operations. When it came time to design the knife's handle, Williams went old-school, using traditional Japanese techniques to make a cord-wrapped handle that works just as well as its MODern rivals. This knife includes a custom-fitted Kydex sheath with a convertible belt mounting system and a quick-release retaining strap. Each of these Knives comes in a custom dark lacquered wooden box for presentation and storage.
