Condor Tool & Knife presents its first scandi-ground, folding knife in 1095 ready for the great outdoors. Engineer Jorge UmaƱa and designer Joe Flowers pulled out all the stops, creating a wonderful lock strengthening mechanism, the "Condorlock" system, that evenly disperses pressure on the handle when put under heavy stress. Made with a high carbon steel blade and a walnut handle, the Krakatoa is meant to rock the outdoor folding knife market.

It's supposed to look "Rough" it's part of the series by Joe Flowers. If you knew anything about Condor Knife and Tool you would know they focus on usable knives not Fit and Finish. Maybe do some research before buying. Condor Knife and Tool is known for quality blades but there not going to be Some Shiny, Pretty knives you put on a shelf to look at. I have 12 of their blades that… read more I actually use in the field and they are tougher than My Esee's and Certainly tougher than some pretty little Spyderco or the likes. If you want pretty knives go buy a $300.00 Cute Little Shiny Knife. Get real dude.
Cheaply Made
I thought this knife would be very cool. It looked the part until disappointment set in upon arrival. Grind marks on the blade, It looks like it was made by a blind knife maker. The edge isn't even, The walnut not finished very well. Overall lacking in fit and finish. Consider the purchase a wasteful expenditure.
