The blade is made from German 1075 High Carbon Steel and are heat tReated and annealed to about 56-58 Rockwell hardness. The edge is hand finished and polished to razor sharpness. The blasted satin finish is achieved by sand or bead blasting the exposed metal portion of the blade. The hardwood handles are made from hard woods of Central America, similar to Hickory. It is finished with a smooth grip and is known for its long durability. Includes a high quality, heavy duty, handcrafted leather sheath.
