Scales just showed up in the mail and I was very excited to put them on my para 3. After getting them installed I think they look great on the knife but here are my qualms with them:

This G10 is super- ultra- mega- rough. Like I’m talking pocket thrashing level. This texturing is going to OBLITERATE your pants. I almost thought about taking the clip off and just having it jangle around in my pockets except for the fear of it trying to bar fight whatever else I put in that pocket with it. I might rock for another day or two and then decide if I want to return them, if I can, or take some fine sandpaper to them.

Side note:
I am by no means an operator or a super heavy user of knives that need to wear gloves or works outside with my knives but my review reflects my casual use of knives and that these scales over achieve on aspects that I don’t think I particularly need. If you want this knife to stay in your pocket and not get hooked out by bumping up on something? These are your scales. (You’re more likely to have your pants ripped off than have this knife pulled from your pocket, they grip that well.)
If you are working under your truck and your hands are covered in oil and it’s dark you are going to see your knife with the Tridium and be able to get a super secure purchase on it. If that’s what you need, these scales are for you. But for a casual, might wait on a set of flytanium scales.
