This limited edition Flashbang is a compact version of the original Matt Cucchiara design and features a CPM-S35VN steel blade. The production version of Matt's custom Flashbang fLipper has exceptional fit and finish. Its contoured titanium handle is bead blasted and open-built with a single barrel spacer. The matching pocket clip is machined titanium to complement the sleek style of the knife and the tumbled stainless steel blade flies open on a ball-bearing pivot at the push of the fLipper. Overall, this is truly a superb folder.

I love this knife
As far as the flipping action, finish, and weight/feel in the hand, this knife is superb. The full size Flashbang is beefier than I would like, but the mini is just the perfect size, even for larger hands. It's slim silhouette and lightness also make it a great EDC option. At $129 it's a steal.
Gentleman's Flipper
My review of this knife is somewhat biased because I also purchased this knife when it had an amazing BHQ sale price. This knife is extremely classy looking for the type of blade it houses. The clip is easy to use one handed. You can try to and successfully fail a flip on this knife so the action isn't 10/10 but still smooth. If you look closely to the titanium scales and clip,… read more there's a very light but beautiful pattern across the material. The best part of course is the M390 blade. Overall this knife is a great gentleman's flipper and fantastic EDC knife. Extremely well made and of excellent quality. Very slim knife for the blade size. Highly recommend the mini flashbang II, if you can't get this exact one they have other similar models. Zero hot spots with regular gripping and also comfortable with reverse grip!
Awesome fidget flipper!
The action on this knife is very smooth and falls shut like a dream. Very fun to flick. Centering was perfect grind is even, and very sharp. The finish on the titanium feels great in hand. Overall this is a great knife I was on the fence for awhile at $240 but for $119 it’s a steal!
Wow...M390 and Titanium!
I guess I'm a sucker for M390 blades and titanium frame locks. Having acquired several other knives made by Kizer, I was anxious to get this limited edition model Mini Flashbang with my favorite features. I like carrying it as an alternative to my mini-griptilian as they are similar in size. The mini flashbang is definitely a more expensive knife with higher premium materials, but… read more well worth it. I like the smooth finish on the titanium handles and the machined pocket clip. The fit and finish on this knife is outstanding. I find the flipper action works best if you press straight down on the flipper tab as opposed to pulling back on it. I've been collecting knives for several years now, and have to say this is definitely one of the nicer knives in my collection. I strongly recommend it, if you can still get one.
