Awesome knife

Super functional knife, great blade shape, great steel, sleek look.

I enjoy almost everything about this knife aside from the deployment being a little difficult at first. I find myself resting my fingers on the lock bar, but after a little getting used to it isn’t much of a problem. Don’t be discouraged at first! It’s a great smaller sized knife with super comfortable read more ergos. Highly recommend!

Good little knife

I'm happy with the Yorkie. Good, sharp steel out of the box.

The flipping action could be a bit smoother but with some use I'm sure it will get better.

Even at the sale price of $135 USD seems a little steep but the overall construction is solid and I love the design.

Fantastic knife but...

Got this knife because I love the Kizer simplicity and fit my bill as a lovely sub 3" knife. Some things to note is the anodize is a much duller mechanical blue instead of the ocean blue in the photos, but different lighting and even moisture from your hands can lead it to have different shades which is cool.

The reason I can't give this knife 5 stars is the assembly. The read more knife comes in this wonderful decident three layer box thing with a lovely pouch... and the blade is gunked up. Used Nick S's video to disassemble it and saw that so much locktight was poured onto the pivot screw, it overflowed into the ball bearings. This is a common complaint I saw on Nick's youtube. Too much locktight.

As for the Knife itself, it is a breeze to disassemble and clean and is very nice in the hand. Pocket clip has good retention and the detent provides enough tension to pop the blade out fast but you still can flick it lightly. Centering is great and stays centered even with tuning of the pivot screw.

Two changes I would request if this knife ever got revisited. PLEASE turn that sharpening choil into a finger choil. Its half way there and it feels SO perfect to choke up on it. Get a full hand on the knife and lock it into your grip with the flipper tab.

I'd also appreciate 3 or 4 groove cut into the flipper tab. Enough to add grip but still considered and simple to fit the vibe of the knife.

Over all I'd highly recommend this knife, but be aware you most likely will need to disassemble it out of the box to clean the action up for a smooth flip.

Awesome knife! Aside from the T1 this is my favorite Kizer. Everything was perfectly dialed in out of the box. Love the blade shape. The blue anodizing isn't the greatest but I kind of like the worn in look after carrying for a few weeks. Keep it up Kizer!
Thanks BHQ
