The mid-tech Penasong has all the qualities of a hand made balisong - Ti handle frames, composite inserts, flawless fit and finish, bearing pivots...plus a really useful blade shape and grind. To me, that makes the mid-tech Penasong one of the best values there is in a premium balisong.
My only deduction would be for the quite smooth handles. These would make crazy flipping a little tricky, I think. It isn't really a problem at all for everyday utility.
