The blade is made from stonewashed, D2 stainless steel.The Shade folding karambit was designed by Real Steel to be both a self-defense tool, as well as an everyday carry knife. It features a thumb slot opener. The back spacer has jimping and jimping on the finger hole providing plenty of purchase in both a standard and reverse grip.
