About Spyderco UK Penknife - Leaf Shape
Spyderco developed the UK Penknife after the United Kingdom prohibited the carry of Knives with locking blades. We began refining the classic slip-joint pocket mechanism with a notched joint and added two Spyderco features that define the MODern folding knife: a pocket clip for convenient carry and our Trademark Round Hole for easy, ambidextrous one-hand opening. The UK Penknife is 100% made in the USA and is available with either a leaf-shaped or drop-point blade design. Both are flat ground from CTS BD1 stainless steel and feature opposing jimping on the thumb ramp and index-finger choil for positive control.

I haven't had a lot of time to use this knife but so far so good. It is easy to open and close one-handed, the lock and frame are sturdy for a non-locking knife (little to no blade play), and it is very lite with a nice wire pocket clip. I look forward to carrying it on my next backpacking trip to Scotland with the wife.
