Caleb Musgrave, designer of the D Fly 4.5 fixed blade, is a wilderness skills instructor of the Mississauga Ojibway Nation in Ontario Canada. Caleb has traveled across much of Canada and the eastern United States and has received training from some of Canadas best survival instructors, including countless Native elders. Caleb has spent three-quarters of his life enveloped in bushcraft. Caleb currently lives in his Home community, the Mississaugas of Rice Lake, where he has run the wilderness school Canadian Bushcraft since 2008. His straight-shooting style of eduCATion, mixed with his wry sense of humor has made him a fan favorite amongst his students and colleagues.Knife needs vary by region and individual preferences. The D Fly 4.5 is a lighter weight, more nimble knife that is made to be supplemented with an axe and saw for felling trees, while the knife tackles the more Precision oriented chores. This knife is the product of over 7 yeARS spent evaluating various fixed blades and noting their pros and cons. The Dragonfly isn't a radical new knife, but is instead a highly refined fixed blade for a specific group of users. It has a 1/8" thick 1095 high carbon steel blade and comfortable Micarta scales. Includes a ballistic nylon sheath with Buckle closure.
