The White River Camp Cleaver has been a joy to use in the outdoors and inside the home kitchen too. First off I love a cleaver blade for food preparation both indoors and outdoors, and this SV35VN blade does not disappoint me. The Camp Cleaver came super sharp right out of the cool wood presentation box. I have also used this Camp Cleaver for light chopping and bushcraft work around… read more my various campsites, and again this Camp Cleaver has not disappointed me. The ergonomic micarta handle helps keep the cleaver firmly in hand while swinging away, and I added a paracord loop to the lanyard hole for extra handling security. Although I have not skinned any critters with the Camp Cleaver it looks like it could easily skin any medium to large beast. I prefer a leather sheath over kydex, and this leather sheath is well built and a joy to use in conjunction with the Camp Cleaver. I love to use my White River Camp Cleaver and often wear it while doing yard work.
