About Pro-Tech Magic "Whiskers" Shortie Prototype Automatic Knife CF (2.375" Damascus)
This Magic BR-1 Shortie 2016 prototype features the same handle as the full-sized BR-1, but with a shorter blade. The knife features a hand ground damascus steel blade and a black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle with a carbon fiber inlay and a black patterned bolster release. This knife doesn't open intuitively for most people, but you'll know the secret to its suave automatic action. The Magic BR-1 is a Mike "Whiskers" Allen design that utilizes a hidden bolster release; a simple, deliberate slide of the front bolster deploys the blade and also unlocks it.
