Decent blade
Civivi does an excellent job with their blades and this is no exception. Solid carbon fiber that looks and feels great. Light weight and beautiful blade. The blade itself is actual Damascus and isn’t just an etched pattern. The steel on the Damascus is 440 which is a little less than ideal for using. If I chose again I would like something in D2 or the likes for the price. The other issue is in the flipper function. It actually hurts to flip when it’s done successfully as it’s a little sharp. The size of the flipper is great for fitting in the pocket but it’s pretty terrible in regards to function as a flipper. You have to almost dig in a fingernail to get it to function. After some practice I’ve found middle finger flips are the most ideal which is a little odd but it works.
